The grass is greener.

Often a countries national colours reflect something notional, conceptual, or manufactured to suit a desired perception of national identity. The united states is red white and blue, Australia green and gold, and the Netherlands orange... Im sure theres a reason, but its not immediately apparent.
...  Ireland is green, and there can be little doubt in the mind of even the most brief of visitors as to why. Every moment is an assault on the eyes, as if someone has overclocked the colour saturation and left everything soaked in rich, saccharin green.
