Beach is a state of mind...

Sherry, white wine and fruit by the river would be nice

There is something intoxicatingly indecent about walking along the Seine without a shirt on...
perhaps its about basking incongruously outside the classic Parisien cliche.

The Parisiens do take to sunny weather with a beautifully innocent and infectionsly childish abandon. Stripping off to lay in the sun by the fast flowing dirty green of the river.
Music, dancing and even the usually haughtily fashionable giggling as they frolic under the sun and spray in the artificial sand.
For a Sydneysider its a wonderfull opportunity to see just how we should embrace the riddiculously undeserved bounty we often leave unappreciated.

mid-way through a year of summer

not everything has to change

Evenings of wine by the Canal... by the River.
Mild blue over red-clay-speckled, grey rooved streets.
